The Development Cup has been established to provide a showcase tournament for non competing IIHF countries. The six participating teams are the ones who are most close to meet the Minimum Participation Standards needed to compete. In 2025 the youth teams will be travelling to Boston, Kalamazoo and Nova Scotia.
